RIFLE-SHOOTING
UPPER HUTT CLUB. The Upper Hutt Rifle Club fired the first match of the second series on Saturday at 800 yards and 900 yards. A choppy wind made conditions bad. The best scores at 800 yards were: Rflmn. C. Whiteman 45, N. Kitchen 43, T. Whiteman 41; at 900 yards. Rflmn. C. Whiteman 40, F. Wilkie 39, N. Kitchen and T. Whiteman 38 each.' Rflmn. N. Kitchen 88, and N. Edwards 57, secured legs-in for trophies in A and B classes respectively. The following are the scores: —
