DEATH OF BRIDGEKEEPER
MOTORIST ACQUITTED OF NEGLIGENCE. Dominion Special Service. Palmerston North, October 31. A verdict of not guilty was returned in the ease of Charles Robertson, st commercial traveller, who was charged in the Supreme Court with negligently driving a car on August 28 and causing the death of James Robert Symonds, bridge-keeper at the Manawatu Gorge.
