The Dlinister of Transport (Hon. W. A. Veitch) had given a sympathetic hearing to the representations in relation to the licensing of fire vehicles, and a request to the Minister of Education (Hon. 11. Atmore) that fire prevention should he tiiuglil in schools was received equally sympathetically. Mr. Atmore hail staled that lie would do everything possible to carry out the association's wishes in the hitter respect.
