THAMES HOUSE DESTROYED.

Thames, October 3.
A nine-roomed two-storied residence, situated within the borough, but beyond the racecourse, was destroyed by tire ai 10.50 last night. It was owned by Mr. T. Miles, of Waihi. and occupied by Mrs. Cameron, who was alone in the house, and is unable to say bow the fire originated. Nothing was saved as there was no water main.available. The brigade went out but could do nothing. . , .
