LOAN TO BE RAISED The City Council passed a resolution last night authorising the raising of a loan of £161,250 for the new Mount Victoria tunnel, providing for its currency, rate of interest and form of debentures, pledging and appropriating special rate, authorising and creating sinking fund and appointing sinking fund commissioners and authorising the issue and sealing and. signing of debentures arid coupons.
