LONDON’S NEW LORD MAYOR
, ELECTION UNANIMOUS (British Official Wireless.) Rugby, September 29. Sir William Waterlow was yesterday unanimously chosen as Lord Mayor of London for the coming year. All the customary and picturesque rites associated with the ceremony of the election were observed at the Guildhall. Sir William Waterlow, who will succeed to the offices in November, has been a member of the London Corporation for sixteen years, and his family has given more than one Lord Mayor to the city.
