LIVELY DAY IN PARLIAMENT
SOME WARM EXCHANGES Proceedings in the House of Representatives yesterday, when the Imprest .Supply Bill No. 3 was under consideration, f were lively. The first incident was the raising of a question of privilege by Mr. A. M. Samuel (Reform, Thames), who alleged that his military record had been slandered by the Minister of Education (Hon. H. Atmore), then Mr. J. A, Nash (Reform, Palmerston) and Colonel T. W. McDonald (United, Wairarapa) crossed swords over a Manawatu difference; and finally the House went close to a division on the question of the production of the correspondence relative to London loan transactions. The proceedings are fully reported on page 12.
