CRUISER EMDEN
SIGHTED BY STEAMER TOFUA UNEXPECTED CALL AT FIJIAN ISLAND Australian Press Association. (Rec. July 31, 9.30 p.m.) Suva, July 31. The steamer Tofua reports sighting the cruiser Emden in the lagoon at Wailagilala, north-east of the Fiji Group, yesterday morning. The cruiser left Suva on Sunday for Pago and proposed calling at two islands in the Fiji windward group. The reason for calling at Wailagilala Is unknown. Only the lighthouse keeper is on the atoll.
