ARBITRATION COURT
“SHOULD BE RETAINED” There can be no misunderstanding the attitude of the Minister of Labour (Hon. W. A. Veitc’.i) towards the Arbitration Court as displayed to a deputation yesterday. “I am one of those who firmly believe in the Arbitration Court,” said the Minister. “At the same time I admit that improvements in the constitution of the Court may be desirable. We know that a strong effort is going to be made to abolish the Court, and I want to state frankly that I am not going to help that movement along. I want to see the Arbitration Court retained if I possibly can.”
