On Monday afternoon Mrs. L. B. Wall, of Kairanga, Palmerston North, gave a farewell tea for Mrs. Cockayne, who will leave shortly to take up her residence in Wellington. The table was decorated with Iceland poppies and native birch. Miss Ruby Gillies, of Palmerston North, entertained a few friends to morning tea yesterday, to farewell Miss Madeleine Cockayne.
