DUNEDIN MAN RECEIVES LEGACY

SAID TO BE WELL OVER FIVE FIGURES. Dominion Speciai Service , Dunedin, July 30. A well-known and popular member of the totalisator staff in Dunedin inherited a legacy which is said to con siderably exceed five figures.

Major T. M. Wilkes, Director of Air Services, will leave for England on August 3. He is to be attached to the British Air Ministry for two years, and while be is away, Wing-Commander S. Grant-Dalton. K.A.F.. will be Director of Air Services. Wing-Commander Grant-Dalton is not due to arrive in New Zealand for nearly two mourns, however, and until he arrives the dudes of Director of Air Services will be carried out by Major L. M. Isitt, who is in charge of the new Hobsonville base. He will transfer bis headquarters to Wellington, and Flight-Lieutenant S Wallingford R.A.F.. who arrived In New Zealand from England two or three days ago, will take over the charge of the Hobsonville base temuoriirily.
