ST. JOHN’S CHURCH
Palmerston North, April 19. The annual report of the churchwardens of St. John’s Church states that although the church started the year with an overdraft of £57 9s. 2d., this has been paid off, leaving a balance to its credit of £lol.' Agenerous donation of £169 Bs. by Mr. R. L. Levin is mainly responsible for this. Mention is made of the excellence of the envelope system of contributing to the church. About 110 contribute in this way.
