HOMING PIGEONS
Palmerston North, April 18. The Atanawatu Homing Pigeon Club held a Hock race from Otaki at the week-end. Results are as follow:—Air. W. Walshaw’s Bricky, 1. velocity 391.9yd5. per minute; Mr. F. Murphy’s Alilson. 2,. velocity 386.9 yds. per minute; Air. T. Inkpen’s Tin Tacks. 3382.6yd5. per minute. The club also held an interval race from Alananui, but owing to bad weather no birds homed in race time.
