MIRAMAR DRAINAGE
CONTRACT PRICE; £29,050 It was announced by the Mayor (Mr. G. A. Troup) yesterday that a contract had been signed for the drainage of Miramar. The successful tenderers are B. Moore and Son, Ltd., of Christchurch, and the contract price is £29,050, which is a little under the estimate of the city engineer. if is understood that the contractors will arrive here during the week-end, and a start will be made with the wo r k before the end of the month.
