DAY IN STRATFORD ELECTORATE By Telegraph.—Press Association. Stratford, March 8,. The Hon. G. W. Forbes, Minister of Lands, spent a . day in the Stratford electorate. In the morning he was given a civic reception at Inglewood, where Mr. W. J. Polson, M.P., brought up the matter of sterility in cows, which, he said, was very serious. The Minister gave an assurance that many trained men were engaged in a close investigation, and the matter would not be lost sight of. It did not matter in what district the investigations took place, as the disease was found in all, and if a cure were found' it would be of Dominion-wide use. The rest of the day was spent in meeting deputations in the backblocks. In the evening a civic reception, was held at Stratford.
Mr. Forbes leaves for the south tomorjrow.
