SOUGHT BY BRITISH FIRMS DELEGATION TO PROMOTE BUSINESS Australian Press Assn.—United Service. London, March 6. Representatives of over 150 British firms and associations, with capital totalling millions sterling, attended a meeting of the Anglo-Russian Committee and adopted a resolution stating that a delegation was going to Russia on March 25, heartily supporting the efforts to promote trade by direct contact Avith the Russian Government, declaring its satisfaction that certain of the largest British banks and financial houses have approved the delegation, and urging the committee to take steps to ensure the fullest financial support for British enterprise in Russia. Mr. Ernest Remnant, in a speech, said that , the Russian Government’s attitude was eminently friendly and businesslike.
