A fire at 1 p.m. completely gutted the residence of O. F. Washer. Owing to the Inadequate water pressure the brigade were considerably hampered. There are insurances on the house for '£7oo in the'Victoria office, and £3OO in the Ocean Accident; office. The furniture fs insured for £4OO in the Ocean Accident Office.
