DEATH OF A JUDGE
MANSLAUGHTER CHARGE LAID. Brisbane, March 2. A charge of manslaughter In respect to the death of Mr. Justice Stumm, has been preferred against Charles Sexton, aged 35. Mr.'Justice Stumm died on Thursday as the result of an accident. While alighting from a tram at Brisbane on Wednesday a passing car knocked him against a stationary tram, injuring his head. Mr. Justice Stumm was only sworn in two weeks ago to a vacancy on the Supreme Court Benclj, following the death of Mr. Justice Woolcock.
