LOWER HUTT CLUB f A SUCCESSFUL SPORTS MEETING ■ ’ ' The Lower Hutt Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club held its third annual sports meeting on the Hutt Recreation Ground on Saturday. Fine weather prevailed, and there was a good attendance of the public. A large number of competitors took part in the different events, necessitating several heats in most cases. Three Hutt Valley championship events were decided. At the conclusion of the day’s sport the trophies were, presented by the Mayor (Mr. W. T. Strand).
