DESTRUCTIVE TORNADO
TWENTY DEAD AND MANY INJURED RESCUE WORKERS BADLY HAMPERED Australian Press Association (Rec. February 26, 7.30 p.m.) New York, February 25-. A message from Duncal, Mississippi, states that a devastating tornado struck the district this afternoon, causing considerable loss of life and great property damage. The first reports state that there are twenty dead and above fifty injured, many seriously; and additional bodies may be within the debris. Rescue workers are hampered by the loss of lights with the power lines cut A high wind still continues.
