Incident in court. Evidently tlie examination of SeniorSergeant Butler in a by-law case at the Magistrate’s Court yesterday afternoon did not appear relevant to counsel for the defendant. He stood up. “Excuse me, sir ... I don’t want to interrupt, but isn’t that rather a foolish question?” Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M.. who was presiding. looked up: “Well, how many foolish questions have you asked?” be returned. Counsel sat down.
