POULTRY FARMING
DEPUTATION TO MINISTER Deputations from the New Zealand Poultrykeepers’ Association and the Wellington Poultry Farmers’ Association waited on the Minister of Agriculture (Hon. G. W. Forbes) yesterday. The Poultrykeepers’ Association asked the Minister to extend the Government guarantee to small eggs, and the Minister promised to Jake the representations into consideration. The provincial body discussed the question of feed prices, claiming that under present conditions it was difficult to make the industry payable. The Minister under-, took to look into the matter.
