NEW ZEALAND RIFLE TEAM

STEADY PRACTICE AT RANGE (Australian Press Association.) (Rec. February 25, 11.30 p.m.) Melbourne, February 25. Captain H. T. Marshall, commander of the New Zealand rifle team, reports that all the men are fit and well after a warm weather journey. The team is now bilJetted at Williamstown, near the range. After spending some time at the twenty-five yards range for the purpose of getting the common zero of their rifles, and sights, the team settled down to steady practice, which thus far has been entirely satisfactory. Captain Marshall says there will be no excuse if the team is beaten. Hie men greatly appreciate the assistance and kindness of the Victorians. Mr. Mason, the New Zealand Government Agent, has also been helpful to the team.
