WAR OFFICE LIAISON OFFICER’S VISIT

Detailed by the British War Office as liaison officer with the General Staff of the New Zealand Military Forces, Major H. G. Eady, M.C., arrived at Wellington by the Makura yesterday morning and will spend about seven weeks in the Dominion. Next Wednesday he will go to the South Island to make a tour of the southern command. On March 1. he will inspect the Ist Battalion, the Nelson, Marlborough and West Coast Regiment, in camp, and the next day the Nelson College Cadets will be inspected. On March 7 he will inspect the 3rd New Zealand Infantry Brigade in camp at Waianakarua near Oamaru, and later he will visit the military camp at Burnham and the Wigram aerodrome at Sockburn, Christchurch. . After returning to Wellington Major Eady will attend the A.R.A. meeting at Trentham from March 12 to 15. He will also visit the 17th Battery N.Z. Artillery in camp at Waipukurau, the 21st Battery camp at Rotorua, the Waikato military training camp, and the Hobsonville aerodrome at Auckland.
