AN EARLY MORNING FIRE
ESCAPE THROUGH WINDOW Shortly before three o’clock yesterday morning the sole occupant of 3<> Cambridge Terrace found the building to be on fire, and escaped through the window. The building, a two-storied wooden one, and containing live rooms and u shop, was used as a bootmaker’s establishment by J. Watts. The Fire Brigade was called, and it extinguished the blaze, the origin of which is not known. The three rooms and contents on the first floor were damaged by fire and water, and the shop and the rooms on the ground floor by smoke ami water. The building is owned by Swinson’s, Ltd. The insurances were not available last night.
