SEASIDE EXCURSION
♦ In connection with the seaside excursion from the Walrarapa on Sunday, January 20, the Kailway Department announces that a very attractive fare has been provided and It is anticipated that a large number will avail themselves of the opportunity of spending a day at the seaside. Those desiring to visit Day’s Bay beach may join the ferry boat leaving Wellington at 11.30 a;m. The Day’s Bay and Petone beaches are considered amongst the safest in New Zealand. In regard to the latter, many improvements in the Immediate surroundings have contributed to placing it on a standard comparable with other popular watering places.
