BAY OF ISLANDS SEAT
WILL PETITION BE LODGED?

A meeting of the Country Party was held at Ohaeawai this afternoon to consider the position in regard to the Bay of Islands seat. The meeting, which was attended by party members, was held mainly in camera. A committee was appointed to deal with the situation arising out of a petition for another election which it was understood is to be lodged.
