NEXT IMPERIAL CONFERENCE
DATE NOT SETTLED (British OllJcial Wireless.) Rugby, December 17. In view of the fact that the general election will take place some time next year, statements have been current that the Imperial Conference, which ordinarily would be held in 1929. might be postponed until 1930. Questioned on this point in the House of Commons, Mr. Amery, Dominions Secretary, stated that the date of the next Imperial Conference had not yet been settled.
