4 By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, December 17. At the Supreme Court to-day, Dorothy Mainell, alias Meyrick, a well-dressed woman, admitted two charges of forgery. Mr. Justice Frazer said that it was not a case in which lie should send the prisoner to gaol, but in the interests of her baby she should stay another two months at the Salvation Army Maternity Home, and afterwards go to Mt. Magdala Home in Christchurch for two years. She is to come up for sentence if called upon within the next two years.
