GERMANY AND SOUTH AFRICA
TRADE AGREEMENT SIGNED (Australian Press Association.) (Rec. December 16, 5.5 p.m.) Berlin, December 14. The Reichstag has adopted the trade and shipping agreement with South Africa which releases each signatory’s nationals from naval or military service in the other’s territory. The treaty will continue for two years after ratification subject to three months’ notice of termination.
