KING’S THEATRE. The comedy romance, “None But (he Brave,” which was screened for the first time at the King's Theatre last night, is one of Fox's best productions. . Charles Morton, as the ambitious and cocksure college boy, who is in searcli of worldly fame is responsible for most of the humour, and with his are connected several well-known Hollywood names. The student, alter, a successful career in college sport, sets out to do as well in the business world. Through his rather over-en-terprising personality he becomes employed bv an Insurance company, and ins lite as ah agent is full of involved episodes. While staving nt a fashionable seaside resort he meets Mary, a girl who rims a hotdog stand, and who, encouraged by Charlie to enter a beauty competition, spends the prize before it is won. As a last resort tlie student enters a motor-boat race, and when well In the lead falls out to rescue a fellow contestant in dillleulties. His courageous net is well rewarded, and Mary’s financial affairs are adjusted. Freckles, a small newsboy, takes a foremost place through Ills hero-worship of Charlie. Beautiful colouring and grouping are features of the beauty pageant in which Marr takes part. Others In the cast are Sallv Phipps, Farrell Macdonald, Tyler Brooks, and Tom Kennedy. A good supporting programme includes a Fox news, reels, and comedy. Very enjoyable orchestral selections were played. KILBIRNIE KINEMA.
