WELLINGTON CYCLING CHAMPIONSHIP
SELECTIONS FOR ALL-ROUND CONTEST. The selection of cyclists for the allround Wellington amateur championship has been made, and the competition, consisting of twelve races over various distances, is to be commenced at next Wednesday’s sports meeting. The selected riders are O. Flett, H. Scarfe, W. Bray, M. Gane, L. Butler, A. Horsfall, D. Toomer, and F. Christensen. For the first of the series of races there will be two heats and a final. Those not among the elect will be entitled to challenge for a place during the season, and if successful they will take the place of the eighth rider, and will also be credited with any points which he has scored.
