HURLEY’S FLIGHT
—ARRIVAL AT CAIRO (United Service.) - - Cairo, November 22. Captain Hurley arrived this afternoon from Bagdad, stopping only at Rutbah, whence he had a nine hours’ battle with severe weather. All are well. Hurley was beset by head winds the whole of the way from Rutbah. He hopes to leave to-morrow, skirt the African coast, and thence cross over the Mediterranean to France. DESIGNER OF NAPIER-LION ENGINE HONOURED (British Official Wireless.) Rugby, November 22. The gold medal of the Institution of Automobile Engineers was last night presented to Captain G. S. Wilkinson, the brilliant designer of the NapierLion engine used in the seaplane which won the Schneider Trophy.
