IRISH FREE STATE
MINISTER AT WASHINGTON (British Official Wireless.) Rugby, November 22. The appointment of Professor Timothy Smiddy, the Irish Free State Minister at Washington, to the vacant post of High Commissioner in London, in succession to Mr. Janies McNeill, now Governor-General, was announced in the Dail yesterday.
