TEACHER’S SUICIDE
SCHOOL BOARD BLAMED (Australian Press Association.) Victoria (8.C.), November 21. Acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Education, the British Columbia Government has dismissed the entire school board of Nixon, following the death of Miss Mabel Jones, a teacher. The Coroner’s jury brought in a verdict of suicide to the effect that the deceased was driven insane through unjustified criticism of the trustees. Inspector May reported that the young girl was subject to constant interference, though efficient, and was driven to desperation.
