QUITE A LIVELY DEMAND
That there is a good deal of money in Wellington for gilt-edged securities, is borne out by the readiness of the application for the 54 per eent. debentures, now being sold over the counter nt the 3’own Hall, in connection with th® £lO,OOO unemployed loan, at present being expended on the preparation of the civic air-port at the Lynll Bay reserve. The Mayor has no doubt that there will be no difficulty whatever in raising the full amount.
