On Wednesday evening Mrs. Mildred Kenny and her pupils will give a concert on string instruments at the Y.W. C.A. Hall, Boulcott Street. The concert will'be unique in having items by mandolin and guitar bands, a number of solos, duos and trios on the banjo, ukulele, etc., and contributions by a juvenile band of performers on the programme. . Songs and recitations will vary the programme, the assisting artists being Mrs. M. Tonks, Miss Lottie Rastall, Mr. John Watchman and Mr. H. W. Patchett. Mr. D. Bremner, retiring custodian of Mandel’s Building, Willis Street, was, a few days ago, presented by the tenants of the building with a sum of money in appreciation of the courtesy and attention that had marked his past services.
