CHILDREN’S EVENING
IN TOWN HALL, TO-NIGHT. Commander R. Byrd will address Qie children gathered in the Town Hall tonight, if this can be arranged. The proceeds of the evening will go in support of the candidature of Joan of Arc, who is one of the queens in “The Dream of Fair Women” Carnival, to raise the remaining money for the Art Gallery and Museum. From start to finish, it will be a children’s evening. Comic films, a maypole dance by the Y.W.C.A. girls, a Punch and Judy show, a ventriloquial item, set oft with band music, will keep the little ones interested and amused. In addition to the entertainment, each child will receive a Joan of Arc badge, a balloon, and a free ice cream.
