SEAMEN’S THREATS

AGAINST TOM WALSH Sydney, November 1. Yesterday afternoon Tom Walsh was compelled to seek a police guard of two detectives and one uniformed constable. Angry seamen had called out across the road to Walsh, “I’ll get you yet.” Walsh found that the office books had all disappeared to a branch office. He informed Fleming, the branch secretary, that he intended to have them brought back to headquarters. Fleming denied shifting the books to the branch office. (Rec.
