NEW MOTOR LINERS

BRITISH-SOUTH AMERICAN SERVICE. (British Official Wireless.) Rugby, October 5. The new fourteen-thousand tons Nelson liner Highland Monarch, the first of five motor-ships ordered by the company for their South American service, has completed her voyage from the yards of Harland and Wolff, Belfast, where she was built, to London. She will sail on October 18 on her first trip to Buenos Aires, which she is intended to make in about nineteen days. The Highland Monarch is 520 ft. in length and G9ft. beam, and has accommodation for 132 first-class pasMJigers, 60 intermediate, and 60 grants. The vessel has one of the largest refrigerating installations afloat.
