PRINCES IN AFRICA
DUKE OF GLOUCESTER’S HUNTING TRIP (British Official Wireless.) Rugby, October 7. The Prince of Wales and the Duke of Gloucester made their last public appearance at Nairobi yesterday, when they again accepted mounts in races at the Nairobi Jockey Club's October race meeting. In one race they rode as rivals. To-morrow the Duke of Gloucester will leave on his hunting trip under the guidance of Captain Brook, his Equerry, and Mr. William Waller, a wellknown local hunter. The trip will last nearly two months, and will cover the best game country of Tanganyika and Eastern Rhodesia, where lions, buffaloes, and elephants are plentiful.
The Prince of Wales will to-morrow begin a week’s tour of the country around Nairobi, lifter which he will proceed to Entebbe on a visit to the Governor of Uganda.
