VALIDATING BILL PASSED , The House of Representatives this morning passed the I. C. and A. Amendment Bill, which validates an agreement between the Sheep • Owners’ Federation and the New Zealand Workers' Union in regard to the shearing industry. ' The Leader bf the Opposition (Mr. H. E. Holland) congratulated the parties interested on coming to the agreement. : “As representing the third party—the general. public,” said Mr. T. M. Wllford (Hutt), “I give this Bill my blessing.” ,The' legislation, he added, showed that the'.spirfKpf the National Industrial Conference .was rife in the land and that an attempt was being made by industry to 'get together and find the best means of Improving the relations between employer and cm-
ployee. The Bill was put through its final stages.',,
