THE LANCE GEORGE CUP The Lance George Cup is a challenge cup given by Mr. Lance George this year for inter-club match play competition between the Indies’ golf clubs in the Wellington district. Teams are seven a-side and the difference between handicaps of opposed plavcrs must not be greater than three strokes. Only one match has been played this season, when the Hutt Club plaved Miramar last week at Miramar. The result of this contest was Miramar 6 wins and 1 loss.
