FLAGSHIP TO ARRIVE TO-DAY

Wellington is to have the honour of a visit from the new flagship of the Australian Fleet, H.M.A.S. Australia, which is expected to reach port some time this evening. Unless the 10,000ton cruiser arrives before dark, she will not berth until to-morrow morning. She will leave on Saturday morning for Sydney. H.M.A.S. Australia is the new flagship of the Australian Squadron, and is flying the flag of Rear-Admiral G. F. Hyde, C.V.0., C.B.E. The flag cap tain is F. W. H. Goolden, who was commander of H.M.S. Hood when sin visited Wellington with the Special Service Squadron. The Australia is a cruiser of 10,000 tons, built under th< Washington Treaty, and has a com plement of 54 officers, 150 chief an< petty officers, and 520 men. j NAVY LEAGUE DANCE.
