The annual rally of the Sunday School Union will be held at the Town Hall to-morrow. The Mayor (Mr. G. A. Troup) will preside, and His Excellency the Governor-General will present the prizes won in the union’s Scripture examination. A large choir of boys and girls, under the baton of Mr. W. E. Howe, will sing choruses, and recitations will be given. The annual meeting of the Opunake Surf Club was held last week. The election of officers for the coming year resulted as follows: President, Mr. J. N. Stephenson (re-elected) ; vice-presidents, Messrs. E. Wenli, P. J. Barry, R. S. Jenkins, J. Wilson and J. Ball; secretary, Mr. M. Smith; treasurer, Mr. W. H. Haggart; club captain, Mr. W. E. Smith; medical instructor. Dr. T. N. Watt: executive committee, Messrs. J. N. Stephenson, W. 11. Haggart, W. E. Smith, M. Smith, W. McAUum, A. Sinclair, and D. Dudley.
