BURNED TO DEATH
NINETY-YEAR-OLD MAORI WOMAN. By Telegraph —Press Association. Hamilton, September 19. A ninety-year-old Maori woman, named' Rang! Maunu Whareroa, who lived alone in an did whare at Te Mata, near Raglan, was burned to .death on Monday night. It was reported by a. nephew who . is living 100 yards away that she extinguished her candle' and fire before retir- 1 ing. It was not known till yesterday morning that the wharc had been burned.
