SHOOTING
KARORI RIFLE CLUB. The Karori Rifle Club opened , its season on Saturday at Trentham with two shoots at the SOO yards range, 10 shots and 7 shots —highest possible score 85. The shoot was in the nature of a “try-out” for rifles and some good scores were returned. A particularly tine effort was put up by Rfm. Haden, a new member, shooting for the first time with the club. With ten shots 47 was registered while at the second attempt a possible. 35 was scored. Rfm. Haden was heartily congratulated. 11. Frankland has lost none of his skill, while 11. R. Keene and B.
