RUMOURS OF RESIGNATION (Australian Press Association.) (Rec. September 6, 7.25 p.m.) London, September 5. Lord Birkenhead, who has returned from his pleasure cruise, declined to confirm or deny reports that he intends to leave politics. Nevertheless, it will not be surprising if he resigns before November.
