SUCCESS AT ELECTIONS PREDICTED “AT THRESHOLD OF POWER AND RESPONSIBILITY’? (United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (British Official Wireless.) Rugby, September 5. Speaking at the Trade Union Congress to-day Mr. Arthur Henderson, Chief Whip of Hie Labour Party, predicted the success of the Labour Party at the coming general election. He said: “The coming months will see Labour’s greatest political adventure. If I read the signs of the times correctly, Labour now stands at tlie threshold of power and responsibility. It is all the more important to maintain close contact between the industrial and political sides. We must endeavour to harmonise and coordinate their respecfltjie policies.”
