LINDRUM AND McCONACHY. A letter has been received from Clark McConachy stating that his tour of Australia with Walter Lindrum, the great Australian billiards player, will conclude in a few days, and thev sail for Auckland on September 20, arriving on September 21. On that date they commence a match —one of three in New Zealand —in Auckland, of 18,000 up, and the second game will probably follow a fortnight later in Wellington. In spite of the visits of Stevenson and Falkiner, the English champions, the visit of Walter Lindrum will create a new era in billiards in New Zealand, for both Lindrum and McConach.v have created new world’s records during their tour of Australia, the Australian making two record breaks, and McConnchv the record of 682 for a first visit to the table. McConachy has made six breaks of over 1000 each during his tour of Australia.
